Enduring Beauty

I have never used this technique before, but I'm definitely going to use it again. It's so quick and easy to use. First I cut an A4 piece of Balmy Blue cardstock in half and then folded in half to make an A5 size card base. Then I trimmed Basic White card 14.4cm by 10cm and embossed using the Basic 3D embossing folder. On another piece of Basic White card I stamped the main image of the flower. I then picked 3 different blue inks for the flowers - Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Azure Afternoon.  Using the masks in order I coloured the main flower in the lightest colour.  Then changed to the 2nd mask and used the middle colour and finally I used the 3rd mask with the darkest blue.  This technique gives the flower more depth.   With the leaves I used Granny Apple Green and Garden Green, and again using the 4th and 5th mask. When I was happy with the colouring and I used the die to cut out the flower. To assemble the card I cut some Lighter than Air 6" DSP ...

Flight & Airy

I'm using Flight & Airy 12" designer series paper which is free when you spend over 60€ when Sale-a-bration starts on 4th January 2024. I love this time of year with Stampin' Up! because I can get wonderful freebies.  It's also handy if I have Christmas money! The base card is Fresh Freeshia. I folded an A4 in half and then cut at just under 15cm to make a square card.  I cut about 3cm from the front of the card, so the inside can be seen (just a little different from a standard square card). I then selected my main image from the papers and used the Deckled Circle Dies.  The papers are double sided, so I just used the reverse on the inside to show when the card is closed.  The stamps are from Seasonal Branches and I used Happy Labels puck a punch to give the sentiment a little more definition.  I finished the card with some jute trim and dots.   Details of the items used check  here Deckled circle dies 162286 2023-2025 in color jute trim 161637 20...
