Layers of Beauty Bundle
I love bundles because it's cheaper to buy. And this bundle Layers of Beauty is gorgeous. I've used these so often, it's really easy and quick to make cards and sometimes when I don't have a lot of time, this bundle is the one that I reach for.
In the bundle you get the stamps, masks and dies. The masks make it so easy to colour. The hardest thing for me is to choose the colours I want the flowers to be!
This card is just under 6" square, I used Petunia Pop cardstock and used my paper trimmer to cut the A4 sheet to size. And then used the scoring blade to score the middle.
I cut Basic White cardstock to slightly smaller than the size of card, to show a border of the Petunia Pop. I then used the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder with the Stampin' Cut and Emboss die cutter for the background.
I stamped the large flowers with Memento ink and then I used the masks in order by placing them over the stamped image using light to dark - Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Petunia Pop and with the leaves I used Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green.
Then I stamped the sentiment using Best Family Ever stamps on the spare part of the Petunia Pop card that I used for the base, with White Craft ink pad. Grabbed my trusty die cutter and used Stylish Shapes Die and cut the sentiment.
Using the dies I cut the main image and leaves from Lemon Lime Twist.
I then started to put the card together. I used Stampin' Seal to adhere the background to the cardbase. Then attach Dimensionals to the die cut flower image.. I placed Petunia Pop ribbon and adhered it to the back of the sentiment die with Stampin' Seal and then put Dimensionals in the gaps.
Then it was a matter of placing the die cuts on the card. I also cut (using the dies and die cutting machine) a few leaves out of Lemon Lime Twist card and placed them behind the sentiment. To finish the card I placed a few 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.
It is a quick and easy card to make. Have you got this bundle? If you have what's your favourite colours to use? Or if you haven't, what colours would you use?
Happy crafting and thanks for looking
